Andrew Tate, a well-known influencer, and his brother Tristan have once again been arrested in Romania. The arrest took place in Bucharest following the issuance of an international arrest warrant by the United Kingdom. The Romanian police have confirmed the arrest of two men on charges of sexual abuse.

Details on the Charges

The allegations against the Tate brothers involve suspicions of sexual violence that reportedly occurred between 2012 and 2015. They are also accused of exploiting individuals in the UK. Following the arrest, the Tates were presented to the public prosecutor who decided to detain them for at least 24 hours.

Denial of Allegations

The spokesperson for the influencer has denied all charges, stating that “old allegations are being revived without new evidence”.

Tate is awaiting a trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking and rape. He had previously been under house arrest but was allowed to leave his home since last summer. However, he was required to stay within the Romanian capital. Prior to this, Tate, his brother, and two female suspects had spent several months in prison. The commencement date for this trial is still unknown.
